There’s Something Big Happening In Astrology.

There’s something in the air. Do you feel it? No, I’m not talking about a retrograde. Yes, Venus and Mercury are both in retrograde and causing a bunch of mishaps but a major shift happened on January 18th. There was a major shift with the Lunar Nodes.

So, what in the world am I talking about? Simply put, in astrology, Lunar Nodes are broken down into the North Node and the South Node. This is also known as The Nodes of Destiny. The North and South Nodes are always in opposite zodiac signs. So if the North Node is in Sagittarius the South Node would be in the exact opposite zodiac sign, Gemini.

The North Node shows where we are heading. And the South Node shows what we are leaving behind or our past. The North and South Nodes have shifted from Sagittarius and Gemini respectively to Taurus and Scorpio. The Nodes of Destiny haven’t been in these signs since 2004.

These nodes dictate the spiritual path for the next 1.5 years. It gives us an idea of the energy we can expect to feel in regard to astrology. So, what does this shift mean for us? Since the North Node is in the stubborn, earth sign, we can expect to feel the need to work smarter rather than harder. You can expect to feel a pull to balance work and play. You might even feel a bit more indulgent. Although it’s great to find more balance with work and play, watch out for procrastination and overspending. This is the perfect time to indulge yourself and go after your dreams however you’ll need to watch out for materialistic tendencies and your temper.

Since the South Node is in Scorpio, you will have to step away from the fear of being misunderstood or judged. You will have to own your own power. You will have to learn to trust again, especially in yourself. A major theme when the South Node is in Scorpio is to stop being fixated on the past. Stop holding on to anger and grudges.

Now is the perfect time to work on a passion project and to allow yourself to have more balance with work and your personal life. Learn to work smarter instead of harder. Free yourself from you past so that you can step into a better version of yourself and feel lighter and more free.
